Our client, Pontegadea, required a completely new up-market look and feel to reception, common parts and lift lobbies, in order to do justice to a landmark building in the centre of Mayfair. Drawing on the colourful history of Almack’s Assembly Rooms, being one of the few but well known and patronised mixed-sex clubs during the 19th century, we created a plush and welcoming reception and waiting area, that includes artwork of the original club mixed with modern but eclectic design elements such as the feature hexagonal metallic mosaic and feature lighting.
