Colour workshop 2018

We had been looking forward our colour workshop with Pantone Color Institute and Milliken Carpets for weeks and it did not disappoint!

The unique event kicked off with an introduction from our very own Gaynor Taylor before the fascinating presentation on Pantone’s place in the world of colour: spoiler alert – they are the world leader in trend forecasting(!), a look at colour trends for the home and interiors 2019 and finally how to work digitally with Pantone colours. Wrapped up by the lovely Nicole Window from Milliken Carpets and a Q & A session it proved to be a very interesting workshop with a delicious lunch of homemade salads, tarts, bread and cake from Aprés Food Co to follow.

Goody bags included a Pantone mug featuring their colour of the year Ultra-violet, Pantone referenced tea bags from the Brew Tea Co and colourful notebooks and pencil case/jelly bean holder (they didn’t last long!) from Milliken Carpets.

For those who couldn’t make it we’ll hope to do another event soon but in the meantime head to the venue, the Milliken showroom to see the full Milliken product range in a stunning setting.
