Whether you’re looking to embark on a new build or renovate and extend an existing home, Mansfield Monk can help. We are a close-knit practice, led by RIBA accredited architects and based in Ingatestone working across Essex and London.

We work collaboratively with our clients, creating considered architecture which responds to their brief while considering the surrounding environment. Our friendly and approachable team can guide you through the house building process and work with you to create your dream home, with minimum stress and to your budget and timescales.

Our main goal is to make the process an enjoyable one for our clients whilst utilising our experience of planning and building regulations to gain planning permission on even the most challenging briefs.

THE TEAM

IAN MANSFIELD

Leading the residential team, Director Ian brings over 35 years’ experience as an RIBA qualified architect with a diverse portfolio of both commercial and residential projects. With his vast knowledge of planning and construction Ian ensures innovative responses to a client’s brief whilst ensuring that planning permission is obtained. He oversees the projects from conception to completion, working closely with both the client and technical team to achieve the optimum result.

LEE CHATER

Lee is the first point of contact for our residential clients. With a straightforward approach he works with clients, advising on the best options to fulfil their requirements for their new home and has a talent for space planning. His attention to detail, technical drawing expertise and project management skills mean that each residential project can progress smoothly.

JESSICA JOHANSSON-BERGH

With a passion for making spaces beautiful, to any budget, our interior designer Jess works collaboratively with clients to guide and assist their interior choices. Using samples, mood boards and 3D visuals she can convey a scheme that compliments the architecture, creating a synergy between the interior and exterior.

They are supported by a team of in-house architectural assistants, technologists and 3D visualisers who produce detailed design packages and specifications for construction and pricing.
