Together with our client, we recognised the potential in what looked like an unpromising prospect: a tired 1960s bungalow. The redeeming feature was a substantial plot. So we recommended demolishing the bungalow and slightly adapting the original plans. Then, together with the owner, we created a distinctive contemporary residential property with stunning views of the Peak District National Park and some striking signature features including a snug, covered walkway and discreet home office. Importantly, the design and build were completed sympathetically and completely in keeping with the neighbouring environment.
