We’d like you to get to know us a bit better so welcome to the news,
reviews and insights from the Mansfield Monk team.
Sustainability has become a key priority for our clients and, as interior designers, the products and finishes we specify reflects this and our own commitment to the environment. Happily the market in recycled and sustainable products is booming and there are more choices now than ever before.
To celebrate World Environment Day we’ve picked a few of our favourites!
Tiptoe Venezia recycled plastic coffee table and Tiptoe New Modern recycled plastic dining table
The tabletops are made from a hundreds of yoghurt pots. Each is unique, in this recycled plastic collection the colour and patterns vary with fragments from the labels.
Camira Oceanic and Camira Quest recycled fabrics
Woven with 50% / 75% ocean plastic waste and the balance from post-consumer polyester yarn, from post-consumer plastic bottles diverted from landfill. Each metre contributes towards reducing marine plastic pollution.
This is the modern interpretation of a table and chair collection designed in 1955 by Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel. Made from recycled fishing nets and recycled hard plastic or, in the case of the OC2 Collection, the slat design has been created in plastic waste from Carlsberg’s discarded beer kegs. This sustainable collection helps towards the prevention of pollution of the world’s oceans.
This amazing colour collection is made from recycled post-industrial plastic from manufacturing and waste management companies in Sweden and Finland. Durat is 100% recyclable. With a terrazzo appearance and near 300 colours, it is ideal for commercial interiors and furniture.
Magis – Bell Chair recycled polypropylene chair
The Bell Chair, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, is made from recycled polypropylene waste from Magis’ own furniture production and the local car industry. The Bell chair is 100% recyclable after use.
